I'd like to add my service, one of the first metrics systems in SL (Maya Realities was born around the same time), to the list:

For a demo, log in with l: test1 and p: test1.

My primary focus is education, and I do work with many academic institutions and non-profits. I would be happy to answer any questions that you have about it, or VW analytics in general.
